Wonderful breakfast menu and good value for money. The English breakfast with fried eggs, beans, bacon and sausages (...) was great! However, you should bring a little time.

The combinations are a bit unusual, but all the more delicious. The question of pancakes or eggs benedict, for example, does not arise here. Everything is simply stacked and served as a stack. Super tasty and good value for money

I've been there twice now and will definitely have breakfast in this cafe more times - highly recommended. The ambience of the two rooms is pleasant, the interior courtyard area also invites you to linger and the staff are friendly and provide good service. The food and drink offer is varied, so that everyone will find something on the menu. With pleasure and again and again.

Lovely place. Due to the recent expansion, there's now more room and spots for people who just want to have a casual coffee. The new part is kept in a light tone, decorated with plants and gives you a fresh feeling. It also has high seats for single people and those wanting to drink a cup of coffee while working on their laptop (though right now they can't be used because of the virus). The old part of the café maintains its homely feel, letting you relax, feeling comfortable, the expansion making everything feel less cramped and more open as well. To say this place is one of my favourites is an understatement. Coming here always picks me back up when I'm feeling down. The staff is friendly and the meals are delicious. Over the course of coming here almost every week I've tried just about anything on the menu and there's nothing I dislike. Everything is home cooked and has its own certain special style of taste that Elke gives all of her cooking. The cakes are very good too (I'm especially a huge fan of the lemon tart and apple pie) and if you fancy a scone there's always different types with different flavours for you to try. Honestly the only fault I could possibly find is the opening hours being shorter due to the virus, but that's nothing to lose a star over. It's the virus after all. Quick tip for anyone planning a visit: during the morning it's better to reserve a table since otherwise you'll probably miss out. Fridays and Saturdays are rather full all day so you might want to call ahead just to make sure.

There for the first time again this year and pleasantly surprised, the English bistro / café has been expanded and is still as good as last year

This store for British delicacies serves one hell of a full English!?? I know it’s not really what you think of with the heat we’re experiencing at the moment but how could I visit a British specialty place without a full English!? ??‍♂️? Btw, if anyone can tell me how that single piece of tomato made it onto the platter next to all this protein (random creative stories are also welcome! ?), I am curious how that came about. I can also recommend their amazing hot chocolate. ??? I was thinking about getting some pancakes for dessert but that platter really put me straight to sleep... ?

Owned by an English man and his wife. She produced amazing food completely fresh which we enjoyed immensely. The products available were some great English traditionals like pg tips, marmite, nerds, Yorkshire tea, ales, scones and most important, clotted cream. Lovely little place.

Excellent Tea and british specialties. They also sell a variety of English condiments and sweets. Even Yorkshire Tea (as seen and recommended by SpiffCo on YouTube).

EDIT: I maintain that I was not spoken to by any staff during my visit. That being said, the food and drinks looked delicious and I will be trying this place again when I'm next in Potsdam. Original: Came in for lunch on a Saturday. After 10 minutes of waiting, I went and got myself a menu. After another 15 minutes without seeing wait staff, I left. In the entire time I was there, I saw only one staff member take an order, although I was not the only one waiting. Very disappointed - I had come through specially for the cream tea, which looked delicious.

Best Frenchtoast ever! There is no way around it. You have to eat here.

It really is a slice of Britain! A hidden (for real!) gem in the middle of Potsdam! We had black tea, London Fog and these amazing scones! I wish we could return for a full English breakfast.

Eine Rarität in Potsdam! A rare treat in Potsdam! I've had the privelege of enjoying their Brunch, as well as purchasing a wide variety of delicious eatables at their shop. From a large variety of great teas, to hearty British meals that you cannot get elsewhere on this city. From authentic porridge to Germanesque, savor-every-bite Brötchen that are homemade. If you are living in Potsdam, please do yourself a favor and experience a delightful Slice of Britain.

Belly buster Full English Breakfast, tasty original ingredients, which the day before, we did not get in our Hotel, but paid twice the Price.

One word - excellent.

A quaint, charming shop with a small selection of products plus they have real tasty food in their Café.

On our last day in Potsdam we stumbled upon a hidden gem. Tucked away on a side street. Excellent food, nice owner, it was a relief to finally drink a decent cup of tea.
